Dragons

Dragons are undergoing a reverse evolution. They've been getting smaller with the eons. Today they are the size of wyrmbats, however they reproduce and multiply much faster. Among some factions in the dragon (as well as pro-dragon and dragon-worshipping) communities, it is believed that this is simply a step in a larger process of growth and withering of the size and influence of dragons, and that their return to power is an eventuality. Nevertheless, even though dragons do not enjoy the status of bygone eras (something that hasn't gone unnoticed by popular culture) they are still fairly prominent in many societies, and still revered as deities in some. Many living dragons are famous, some date back to the ages of legends, one even claiming of having made the big descent (Sarfall).
