The continent of Fanor is a diverse and interesting place full of unique magic, creatures, and races. there are nine distinct nations on the continent, each with different governments, cultures, religion, and ethnicities. There are four distinct civilized species on Fanor, Humans, Køen, N'djyndja, and Belloc. Magic is a big staple of the cultures and religions of Fanor and there are three types of "magic;" Willcasting, Willbreaking, and Amalgamation. Any visitor to Fanor needs to know a few important things. The Union and the Vecchio Empire are waging a 30 year conflict that has stalemated in the ruined city of Guapalsia on the front lines. Both nations are seeking a way around the stagnated frontline or to find technological advantages to break through. Each strive to break the neutrality of the powerful city-state Alielgrad. In the north the fierce and violent clans of the Vyaljar people are being united by a powerful and ruthless Jarl Baird, causing the neighboring nations to be concerned. In the south the expeditionary forces form multiple countries compete with each other and the local Olu tribes to discover the secret technologies left behind in the Basur Wasteland from the fall of the N'djyndja. In the East the isolationist Ashai Houses wage a quiet war with each other to place their candidate as the emperor. In the Emerald sea to the west ships from Cienland and the Sumurud isles compete for domination of the trade routes through the area.
