Crater of Atom

Crater of Atom is a location in the Commonwealth in 2287. A massive detonation crater southwest of Boston, it was ground zero for the high-yield nuclear explosion which devastated Massachusetts and created the Glowing Sea.
Background Complete and utter desolation in all directions. A perpetual cloud of radiation haze that creates fierce and toxic storms. The area is fatal to most human beings but is home to deathclaws and radscorpions. This is the epicenter of a nuclear strike centered on what is known colloquially as the Crater of Atom.
