The World of Fallen Divinity
In ages forgotten Gods walked freely upon the world of Aethir. Their presence brought life and death to all. Each God a being split from the All-Father with its own wants and desires. The wars of the Gods spanned eons and beyond the mortal plane of existence. Aethir begat life, and that life served as tools in the machinations of the Gods. The Divinity that guided the world was spent, and before time was counted
Since before history was recorded, tides of Darkness have continually pressed upon Aethir to be pushed back by the Light and those who wield it. Although the Darkness has never held, the Light dims more and more causing many to wonder about the fate of the future. The stars' and the Gods' planetary bodies tell the stories of what has been, what might be, and what should be. From their towers and conservatories, astrologers strive to decipher the meanings of the strange signs that portent what comes when the dawn does not break.
