Fale

Once part of a wider world the continent of Fale sat in the middle of a sea unfortunately an event known as the ‘Cataclysm’ befell the island. Close to 800 years ago the island was cut off from the wider world by a mysterious event that has baffled scholars for generations, a scattered few would have even been alive at such a time to remember the event but to most it has long since fallen into legend. What is commonly known is that once out far enough to sea, huge storms rage, no ship has ever navigated it and come back to tell the tale.   Mysteriously no magical contact exists between the island and the outside world. This severance dashes the rather flimsy hypothesis of some scholars suggesting that the storms are natural. Even causing some folk to believe this continent is the entire world.   Rumours and theories grow wild, with some adventuring parties seeking to explore the storms to find its source, to no avail.
