Breaching of the Treaty: King Herod ordered his men to storm the Meridian and slaughter the dwarvish tribe that occupied it. They then began driving out the warriors of each village they came across just beyond the meridian, in order to accustom the other people in the village to Palos' teachings. To do this with the utmost efficiency, Herod had his Crusaders of Palos undergo basic magic training to cast a mind-altering spell called "The Hand of Palos." Council of Daham (light elves who run the city) begin discussion of acting on this offensive move, but the Berfwright family seeks not to since they do not have any current alliances with the other elvish tribes.
