A fantasy world caught between ancient magics and new science, Faeryn is a peaceful world forced into peace by the god's ultimatum: if the balance tips too far in favour of good or evil, they will leave and ravage the land again like they did 700 years previous.   The last 500 years have been outwardly peaceful, but full of backroom politics and under the table moves in order to gain any advantages over your enemies, all the while pretending that nothing is going on. The balance is always shifting, but it has remained stable.   The goddess of chaos and death has other ideas; she wants to flip the table of peace over, and she wants to reap the benefits of doing so. She'll stop at nothing to destroy the world, even if that means sacrificing her pawns   A group of heroes have been chosen: a centaur, a half-orc. a half-elf, and two more yet undecided. Will they be able to save the world without breaking the balance that's kept the world in check for so long?
