Konstantine Schmitt

Konstantine was born into a Dynasty of honorable Goliaths that stuck to a strict code of honor and traditional way of life in the mountains. Konstantine, disliking the mountain and the Goliath society, left at a young age to explore the world. Throughout his time in the world Konstantine travelled far and made many friends, including one Albert Hudson, the severed head and Greyra Hapha. During this time, he began to do odd jobs for the Cartel, who had recently secured Albertgrad from the Ironwalkers, he became well acquainted with some cartel bosses, building his reputation but never officially joining.

In the year 1491 Konstantine travelled to Waterdeep during the winter of discontent. Although his quest was somewhat a failure and introduced a new hatred of liberals, he got out alive just as Irwin Smith secured power.

In the immediate aftermath, Konstantine took another job for the cartel, this job too went south, resulting in the death of his higher up. Taking the imitative Konstantine took charge of the job resulting in it compete success, earning the cartel significant amounts of money. Due to this he officially joined the cartel in the position of his previous commander that died, due to his perceived skill and previous relation with the cartel.

Rising through the ranks he was perceived to be a threat to the leader of the cartel and was cast out as a result. To console him he met in a pub with Albert Hudson to share a delicious pint. However, as Albert went to the toilet Konstantine was knocked out and kidnapped by pirates and taken to the southern continent of Chult.
