Some may call him naive, for he believes that it is best to exhaust all possible means to make peace, before resorting to violence.

Personal history

Ledwen is 4th in line to the throne. He left his place in the capital, is because he felt that when looking from on high, nobility tend to forget the people below. Individuals become mere statistics and numbers, when most people look at the big picture. While he understands this line of thinking, and thus doesn't scorn his family or the nobility, he just feels that doing what he can for the little guy is the right thing to do.
As he left his family, there was an understanding that if they needed him, he would come back to help them, and they would accept him should he return. As such, he doesn't flaunt his royal authority in his travels.
He was training to become a wizard before he left. One of the first spells he learnt was "find familiar", and so during his stay at the capital, an owl he called "Ibis", was a staple of his presence. When he left the capital, to blend into the crowd, he transformed ibis into a normal looking owl, and called it "Strigine".
On the road, he awoke to his sorcerer abilities, and has been exploring his limits, trying to learn more as he goes.
