Moradin

The devotion to the Allhammer is strongest in dwarven com- munities, and many of his temples mark the center of a mighty dwarven stronghold.
Many guild halls and workshops contain images of the Allhammer, a faceless, stout dwarf-like being of immense strength, hunched over a flaming heart clasped within his massive hands.

Public Agenda

Moradin had a strategic but friendly alliance with the other Prime Deities. He opposed the Betrayer Gods in the Calamity. His followers are tasked with destroying Gruumsh and all his followers. He charged his people to create great cities and strongholds.

Assets

Dawrves, the original children of Moradin, learned everything they have about mining, smithing and creating from their Soul Forger. All followers of Moradinusually find themselves working as some sort of metal or stone smith. Their talents are renowned far and wide for it's superiority and required for many larger cities.

History

Moradin was held in dwarven myths to have been incarnated from rock, stone, and metal, and that his soul an ember of fire. It was said he forged the first dwarves from metals and gems and breathed souls into them when he blew on his creations to cool them. Moradin was responsible for banishing the evil gods of the derro and duergar from the surface.
Moradin's avatar appeared while the Ironstar dwarf clan was fleeing from orcs at the Stone Bridge, after a desperate appeal by Daurvos Frostbeard (which was his final act), and helped them defeat the orcs and gain safe passage to Ironford, thereby forming the Fallen Kingdom.
Now, He shaped the mountains from the chaos of the Founding, and stands as the patron protector of home and family. The devotion to the Allhammer is strongest in dwarven com- munities, and many of his temples mark the center of a mighty dwarven stronghold.

Tenets of Faith

Remain stoic and tenacious in the face of catastrophe. Uphold and promote loyalty to family, loyalty to clan, and loyalty to your people. Legacy is paramount. To create something that lasts the ages is to change the world for the better.

Worship

All dwarves see forging, mining and creating as worship to Moradin. However, on the Holy day of Deep Solace especially devout followers spend the day in isolation, meditating on the meaning of family and how they may be better mothers, fathers, siblings, and children. Other dwarven communities in Mithrall Hall and abroad celebrate with a full day of feasting and drinking.
