Ril'an B'noor Urngor

Ril'an B'noor Urngor

Ril’an is a young Githyanki that was brought to the Material Plane as an infant. For much of her early life she trained in navigation, smithing, carpentry and woodworking. Life in the Gith settlement was more about working toward becoming a captain of a spelljammer ship. She made very few friends among her people but was ok with focusing on her studies. Eventually her studies there would end when a group of Illithids attacked and killed most of the people there. She and a few other Gith children escaped, eventually being rescued by a dwarven scouting party. One of the reasons Ril’an had a chance to escape was a lucky encounter with a Tressym which guided her away from the monsters chasing her. The transition to life with the dwarves in Mithral Hall was difficult, especially due to her upbringing as a Githyanki which taught her others were inferior. Over time she learned to love her new dwarven family, and was adopted into Clan Urngor. Her adoptive parents Tharbath & Otmahilda continued her training and studies though not with the same rigor she had before. She grew close with her adopted brother Budruki and they became rival craftspeople. Now as an adult she has chosen to leave her adopted home to make a name for herself as a crafter. Her choice to do adventuring work was based on descriptions she heard from travelers visiting the Mithral Hall.

Party starts by figuring out how long they have until the next group of bandits arrives. We decide to take advantage of Andre's ranger abilities (pass without trace) to sleep at the Bullywug village.   tristen morhel local mayor for High Hold   need to relisten

Journal 3 - Aug 28

After determining they couldn't do much for Benny after he was turned back into a statuette.   found in south room - correspondence, rough map of the area, the compartment in the desk that holds a stack of letters, locked chest at foot of bed the chest contains, small pouch -containing 2 gold rings, silver locket, a pair of books - witches cauldron & wizards staff, torn piece of parchment. Torn piece of parchment has first part of a poem mentioning the In-between - rolled a 24 history and could only determine the connection to interplanar terminology.   Found plans to establish a trading route to sell slaves (not legal in this region). Excavating the swamp Keep as a base of ops. An established group called Indigo Snakes (likely second in command Sarah) trying to set up Diggs in a new area. The letters were marked "A" (redish brown hair) and "S" relationship unknown. The timeline suggests shipment of slaves expected in 2 weeks   The group sets out a note from Sarah telling the slavers that the bandits went out on patrol. We use that opportunity to take a short rest which allows us to bring back Benny (who was resting in his Bennybjorn). We move through the keep using Isa's disguise (as Sarah). This allows us to take out a few of the people before meeting the Bandit captain. We eventually get in combat to with the bandit captain - LSS - Bandit Captain knocked out, Benny knocked out but not stone, looted: Documents found from the bandit captain showing more plans to build a local black market and slave trading post. Scrawlings about wrongful discharge, maybe former military, Army of Silvermarches? small personal chest, 22 gp, 106 sp, 213 cp, 1 small emerald (10gp). give out 2SP per prisoner. Bandit Captain Haylick. Haylick had a magic cape and dagger, false bottom of the chest contained an additional 5gp, 20sp   Bandit Captain Haylick still alive

Journal 2 - July 10

Uri, immediately lost all the time in the feywild. The group lost hours in the fey as well. We learn more of the red-headed half-elf ranger (Averene) we're looking for who stole a flower from the pixies. She lives near the forest. We eventually get the flower back from her, Khosan uses charm person (the group only knows it's a spell). Kids retrieved, Benny and Rilan lose their memories of the trade-off though. Getting back to town the group realizes they've been gone a year and a half. The families shower them with praise, Rilan and Uri send letters back home to reassure the family.

Journal 1 - June 26

Ril'a meets Uri in Mithral Hall (he was a new arrival which piqued her interest) and immediately brought him home to meet the parents. She learned quickly enough that his knowledge of smithing was fairly great but his interest in it was practically non-existent. They got to talking and Ril'a got it in her head that it was a good idea to travel with him. Uri mentions that Ghelryn Foehammer gifted him an Adamantine Breastplate. On the road, with Uri, we make it to Rivermoot and the Wandering Fellow Tavern. Rowan (older dwarf) runs the place. Meets Liams character in a human form (Kohsan) requesting help rescuing missing kids. We track them into the woods that has signs of leading to the feywild. We meet some pixies who were taking the children in retaliation for someone from the town taking one of their flowers. In the woods was Benjamins Statue. Once Uri read Benny's name out loud he came to life.
