Lin Takashi

Lin Takashi is the eldest son of Enji Takashi, considered a failure by his father due to his sole possession of his father's own fire affinity. Though his mother was a water genasi he has never been able to conjure even the smallest droplet. Fire wasn't the only thing he inherited from his father, he also shares his sense of purpose and determination. Despite this, Lin is far from his father's doppelganger. Perpetually positive and overly friendly, Lin often seems oblivious to the tragic circumstances of his birth and ambivalent towards current events. So he was possessed by an ancient mage of considerable power that broke magic itself? He lived, so what did it matter. He may have even learned a few things. His lackadaisical nature may be a defensive mechanism or a mask to hide his true intentions, its hard to say. Ask anyone close to the man and they will tell you that Lin wants nothing more than to inherit his father's title, take control of Telflamm, and change it for the good. Instead of running from his father's mistreatment of others, he's decided to meet it head on.
