Dargas "The Soldier" Goldenforge

"The Soldier was laid to rest in Telflamm"

        The older brother of Shamas Goldenforge, Dargas was the heir to the famous Forge of the Golden Spark, the finest smithy in Eastern Faerun. He never wanted to be a smith, like his brother, Dargas was a man of travel and action. His greatest joys in life were his daughter Shani, his devotion to Tempus, and the good he was able to do across the land as a member of Glory's Edge. He knew one day he would need to return home and take up the anvil, especially since his brother showed little interest in forge-work as well, but he meant to rid the world of as much evil as he could before doing so. He'd do anything to make the future his daughter would experience a little brighter and less dangerous. It was not to be. Upon their betrayal by the White Lady, Dargas too was drawn into his own gate and their he died, unwilling to fight a simulacrum of his own daughter. However, just before he died he was able to warn his brother of the danger he and his friends had unwittingly awoken and give him the key and the amulet that was meant for Lilliana.
Lore Discovered:

• Dargas was given the Astral Plane, where Mystra's spirit was said to wander.
• His daughter Shani was briefly a vessel of Tempus' will, her custody was given to Shamas, who in turn gave her to Reimas upon his own death.
• Dargas' spirit is still not at rest and will not be until his body is interned. It currently resides in the bag of holding.
