Tokens

Silverymoon has three different ypes of tokens which allow the bearer to pass through the Outer Ward and the Inner ward without hindrance. Each token is pierced so it can be worn on a necklace if desired, and is made of silver. It is about the size of a large thimble. Silvaren living within Silvermoon are given Adrath tokens to keep, while visitors are loaned these tokens to be returned upon departure.   No Token can ever leave the wards. If someone attempts to leave the town with the token, it will crumble into ash within seconds.  
Adrath Tokens   An Adrath token allows magic users to practice magic within the Outer Ward only. These tokens are carried by all residents of Silverymoon, and are issued to visitors after meeting with the guard before entering the city. Adrath Tokens are shaped like a unicorn head.
 
Duraph Tokens   A Duraph Token negates the magical wards protecting certain buildings. To obtain a duraph token, you must meet with the senior officer overseeing that building and state your reasoning. Bearers of Duraph tokens are then escorted by armed guard to complete their business and are expected to return the duraph token once their business is complete. Duraph Tokens are shaped lie a diamond.
 
Lauthaul Tokens   A Lauthaul token functions the same as the Adrath token with the exception that it allows magic to be used in Both the Inner and Outer Wards. A small number of these tokens have been charmed to allow access to restricted access to the Palace, such as the dignitaries residences. Any request to use both a Lauthaul Token and a Duraph Token will be immediately denied unless Lady Alustriel is present to give permission in person. Lauthaul tokens are in the shape of a shield.
