Mizupollians
Brief Overview
Mizupollians (mee-zoo-pole-ee-ens) are a clan of elves descended from the gods Mizupollia and Sunarin. However, Mizupollia is seen as their patron deity, therefore they are named after them. The Mizupollians live between the coastline and the Cobalt Loch in their town of Thalassa. The Mizupollians are a very pacifistic clan that acts as the mediators between the water-folk and land dwellers. They use magick for day-to-day activities and learn minimal fighting skills.Appearance
Mizupollian elves, due to their outdoor lifestyle, have darker skin and thick hair. Their hair is typically dark, however it can range in any color. Their eyes range in almost any color. Mizupollians have lithe builds and slightly webbed hands and feet to enhance their swimming. They have two pairs of eyelids, one which covers their eyes when they are submerged underwater. Despite spending a lot of time in and around water, Mizupollian elves do not have gills. Mizupollian elves have rather small, pointed ears.Naming Traditions

Children
Mizupollians are the clan of elves most likely to mate with creatures other than elves. Typically they do so with merpeople, however mating with selkies is also common. Like other elves, they reproduce almost identically to the way that humans do, but can have children with creatures of the same sex or with no sex due to magick. Mizupollian elves tend to leave Thalassa at some point in their lives, but stay close to water.Village
