Resource Barracks

With how the economy is built in Faeden, resources are accumulated by the community and stored by the government to be redistributed out to its entire people. The resource barracks, located closely to the Great Tree, stand to house those resources until their redistribution. There close location to the tree allow for redistribution to take place at its base, so that nobody would have to cross the entire city to get what they need. These barracks store food, materials, tools, seeds, crops, decorative materials, and some occasionally acquired tech.

As the winter months approach, and crop output lessens, the resource barracks are made sure to contain enough storage to supply the population in rations in case a disaster or famine should strike. Very few cases have the food and supplies ever had to be rationed before, and it was only in times of disaster and need. The government takes great care in making sure every citizen of Faeden is awarded for what they give to the society, and thus those that prove they’ve done more for nature and keeping the balance are awarded more resources and supplies from the barracks.
