Faerie Dwellings
Faeries are the smallest living beings in Faeden. Although they can shape shift and change size if need be, Faeries do not require a lot of living space for their naturally small heights. As a result, faeries have chosen to live in small dwellings within the branches and trunks of Douglas fir trees. The faerie dwellings are woven and carved to perfectly the needs of each faerie living in them. Their design keeps harsh winds from knocking faeries out of their homes and has enough room for necessities such as a sleeping room, kitchen, and bathroom. More than that would be unnecessary because the majority of the population spends most their time outside and keep active. Living within the tree dwellings is helpful for faerie harvesters who collect nuts, fruits, and berries to sell at the bazaar or or silk webs for sewing and knitting clothes and other garments. Most of the dwellings are accessible mainly to faeries who are the only species that can fly up to them.
