Ezoeran

Welcome to Ezoeran, a flat, circular world - as far as anyone knows - consisting of only one land mass, with waters pouring off of one end, and formidable mountains blocking off the other. Or so they believe.   It is a medieval fantasy world largely dominated by three species: human, mermaid, and dragon. Though all three are sentient, the spheres they live in are completely separate. The dragons high in their mountains shrouded in fog, the humans reigning in their many sprawling civilizations on level ground, and the mermaids ruling the seas.   Every few hundred generations, however, when invaders from beyond the mountains threaten the survival of all three species, a group of young humans and mermaids are destined to bond with a dragon. An ancient tradition steeped in magical promises long forgotten.   In every such age hangs the question, will these strange monsters be beaten back once and for all, or will they finally succeed in destroying the "civilized" peoples of Ezoeran? Though they do not know it yet, a new set of youngsters are about to be chosen, and perhaps they will finally succeed in changing the world.   (Inspirations taken from the movies "The Great Wall" and "Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas," the manhwa "Destination Heaven Chronicles," and pretty much every dragon tamer story ever.)
