Eyker

Ekyer is a world that was broken down and rebuilt continuously over its long life span. A world created by a dead god tearing its heart out of its chest and petrified it for its children to inhabit. Now after four eras the divine children have long passed and their creations inhabit the world continuously destroying themselves and having their offspring build off the skeletons of their creations. There are churches who believe in the word of dead gods, inquisitions marching through countries leaving desecrated lands in order to purge the world of any essence of the old gods while being corrupted by it themselves. Then there are the hunters, once regular civilians who protected their townsfolk from the dangers of beasts and outside influences now traveling hunting parties that take their work across the continent for brass, the false image of valor or simply as an extended suicide.
