Mount Asteris

Mount Asteris is the tallest of the Clockwork Mountains. Its peak is said to be a disconnected part of Arborea, the realm of heroes and dreams, and is host to the Temple of Erathis, the birthplace of Erathis' Curse over 3,000 years ago and the eventual resting place of Kerciles. Over the past two millennia, and especially during the Ages of Heroes, various champions and personalities have attempted to climb the mountain in order to claim a seat within the temple, as it's been said that any who bow before the petrified throne of Kerciles will be rewarded with demigodhood. So far, only 7 individuals have actually succeeded in this journey, and all 7 of them now dwell within Arborea as members of the New Pantheon.
