Woke up to meet drez's druid friedn, made a tree portal and was rushed through
Saw Nicodranas debated on whether or not we enter via beach or path in to avoid arrousing suspicion.... good god
Went to the withered bird inn

Drez's Task to Talis
Drez wants Talis to learn the methods of her enemies study behaviours and strategy as well as distinct strengths. Learn this and then figure out how to take advantage and exploit their weaknesses. Anything of value to aid in combat proficiency within the Cobalt Soul would be appreciated to be brought back.
Session notes 04/10/2020
Mission: Escort Ulrich to Drez with notes and scrolls (Should i steal them hmmm)
Helped a farmer with cart gave us a bag of food as thanks - Daeb made a tasty stew as a result.
Also had a successful hunt on the first night - I hope that proved to the guys that im as capable despite my small stature
Fought goblins, giants and robed martians (oh my....) - Mages had smooth skin with a teal complexion and silver eyes. Couldnt get any more from them as they kersploded.
Cassius has a weasel called Ictis which means stroke (lol)
Ulrich took a lot of hits but he made the journey.(yay)
Town cryer news in Deastock (Might be useful who knows?)

Made it to Deastock and the archive turns out to be a bar (we all approve). Tavern is called the Cerulean Spirit which is a front for the actual archive.
Met Drez he looks fine... and so is his wit - I like him
3 missions presented to us:
1. Pride Call - Massive drough, river has ran dry with people monetising water exports. Scouts have gone to Prides Call but have not returned. No assistance from the assembly but its too quiet over there
2. Gwarden 20,000 pop in the Menagerie Coast- Noone in the city has died for 3 months of natural causes the sick and the old keep going. Looks like its been kept as a deliberate secret with people who question been accused of worshipping false gods.... Pretty Fucking Weird...
3. Earthquakes in Nicodranas - The city is suffereing frequent earthquakes, empire does not want to get involved. Concord is downplaying the earthquakes and getting tide preists on the scene to try and mitigate the issue. May well be a greater threat involved.
By level of urgency we will go to Nicodranas first then Prides Call then Gwarden
Letter Home 1
Dear Papa,
I hope things are going well at home. As promised, I am writing to let you know I have safely arrived at Deastock. The journey was a long one but I am in good company.
You would never believe this but I met my friend Daeb in Zadash as we were leaving, I havent seen him since Rexxentrum but it is a delight to see him keeping well, If we had more time I would have introduced him to you proper but we had to get moving. It appears his popularity stretches further then I thought as a lot of our new companions seems to know him as well.
We have a dwarf in our company who has... well a rather unique accent but he has a warm personality and his values seem somewhat commendable. I should hope to get to know him more on our journey, he is really good at setting up camp for a man of the cloth, he must be well travelled.
There is a human in the group and a rather eloquant one at that seems to carry the same posture as Daeb but certainly more book smart, he will make for interesting academic conversation. He also has a pet weasel which is truly adorable he bit me a couple of times but i think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
I am also travelling with a dragonborn, I have never seen one in my life but they are truly an incredible sight. The scars he carries show he has seen many battles and strife he is a very interesting character indeed but seems to keep to himself. I hope he warms up as we travel but I am truly glad for the extra muscle in our group.
The road was peaceful for the most part, we helped a wayward farmer from been stranded on the road and dealt with a few nusance goblins here and there. Nothing to worry about so please do not worry.
The city is so beautiful here, full of nature and a touch of elegance, you should think about visiting here some time as the sights here are truly inspiring.
Though I have just reached Deastock my work will be taking me further out of town with my new friends. I am so eager to see what my travels will bring and hopefully I will be able to get the answers to where I came from.
Know that I am safe, I will be sure to write whenever I can to let you know I am well.
