The Nomads

The people who call the Colirin Dunes homes. Rugged folk who are adapted to the intense heat and tough lifestyle of living on the desert.

Structure

The Nomads are a loosely governed group of families who have lived on the Dunes for generations. Each family has a head who pilots their skiff and attends the Silk King's court each year. Some families may tend an oasis in the desert. The heads of these families are often incredible fighters, their families keep their oasis safe from any threat. Their skiffs are outfitted for combat and they usually have homesteads surrounding their oasis in which visitors can stay and eat.

Culture

Very traditional, Nomads are stuck in their ways to a fault. Deviating from their cultural norms is almost physically painful for them. Their laws are few, but are absolute. Breaking them is not an option.

Public Agenda

The Nomads wish to continue their way of life and one day have one of their family become Silk King. Sticking to their traditions and laws, Nomads enjoy their life even in one of the harshest enviornements imaginable. They enjoy music and dancing, using it not only to express themselves but also to cast magic.

Assets

The Silk King rules the City of Silk and the Nomads dominate the Colirin Dunes. Traveling through the Dunes without a Nomad guide is considered suicide, and depending on where you wish to go and what you wish to do, you may not be able to find one. Nomads also find precious materials in the Dunes which can range from powerful magical items to groundbreaking medicine.
