Sun and Moons

The world has a single sun with two moons. The names for these celestial bodies are different in different regions and cultures. The patterns that they trace across the sky create three distinct seasons worldwide. The effects and names of the seasons may be different, but there are always three. Each season lasts roughly 80 days; one year is 242 days.

A Turn is 5 days long and each day has its own name. These names are consistent throughout Evramar to make record keeping for merchants much easier. They are; Flamesday, Watersday, Stonesday, Breezeday, and Idlesday, in that order.

In Oderron, the larger is named Enavar and the smaller is Noaya. In Tirpitz, the larger is called the Lantern and the smaller is called the Eye.

Manifestation

The sun burns bright yellow-white in the sky, seeing both the sun and one of the moons at the same time is not a strange sight.   Of the moons; one is larger and dimmer while the other is smaller and glows brighter at night.
