The Kingdom of Everstride

This story takes place in the world of Geodia on the Golden Continent, a Land that was once under united rule for centuries and which now stands scattered by a tragedy from 1000 years ago. Recovering from the loss of the Ancient Kingdom of Dezak, the present day Kingdom of Everstride was founded in exile to reestablish the lost connections, trade routes, migratory roadways, and glory of old. A shadow of the vast majesty that once was, now the Kingdom of Everstride and the other nations of the Golden Continent strive for unity while still preserving their independent authority, and often coming in conflict with one another in defense of their own interests while holding onto long held grudges from the days of the Fallen Kingdom. The people of the Golden Continent and the citizens of Everstride work everyday to recapture that lost grandeur from a time long past.

The Fall of Dezak is the most significant event in the history of the Golden Continent, marking the seperation of several kingdoms in favor of following their own interests, with the failings and betrayals from the events of the fall fueling mistrust that would shape relationships for ages to come.
