Backgrounds

During character creation, you select a character background. This is something thematic that gives an idea to what your character did, has done, or is currently up to before the campaign. Maybe your character lived their life as an acolyte to a church, or they were a recluse hermit who wandered the wilderness, or even a city guard. These backgrounds give you some bonuses to your character that we will go over during character creation. I will be pretty liberal with what you can select, so long as we can make it make sense for your character's backstory and who they are as a person.
You can select your background from the list from the link below, you can freely select from any of the common background. The setting specific backgrounds and AL backgrounds are judgement calls which I'll need to look over. I ask to avoid using the homebrew or Unearthed Arcana backgrounds. Once again, I will guide you through the Background selection process, I want to make sure everyone creates a character they are happy with.
