Alice and her sister Sandra lost their father to sickness when they were young. This was hard on their entire family, and Alice and her sister had to help out with work for the survival of their family. When their mother also fell ill and passed away when Alice was 15, the sisters sought apprenticeship at the head temple of Chauntea to become a priestesses. Only Alice was accepted however, and she has to provide financial support for both of them. It turned out Alice had a great talent for holy magic and became a cleric at the age of 18.
