The Pantheon

Structure

The gods in the pantheon each control one aspect of the world. They're usually named respectively (Law is the goddess of law, Dexterity is the god of dexterity, etc) but some have unique names (Lolth is the goddess of spiders). The more devout followers a god or goddess has, the more powerful they are.

Cosmological Views

The god of creation, the first god, created Eventhial from nothing. He is known as the Origin.

Tenets of Faith

The only thing that the Pantheon demands from Eventhial is faith. As such, cults and other similar organizations are strictly prohibited.

Worship

There are plenty of churches that devouts attend. Spellcasters relying on divine energy must pray to their deity daily to gain them.

Granted Divine Powers

Priests and similar people are granted the ability to cast spells if they have the talent. Otherwise, they are granted standard divine protection and an assured afterlife.

Sects

The main sects include the 6 Characteristics, the Alignments, the Elements, and the Magics. There are plenty of minor gods and goddesses who do not belong to a major group.
