Otia believes that death and destruction are a required part of life, they are needed to allow for new life to grow. Her beauty is said to have caused the start of the feud between Ogbin  and Cebus  but that is long ago.
Those who follow Otia weather it be for the protection of life or to gather the power over death tend to be clerics of the death domain or wizards interested in necormancy, as well as those wizards dealing with destructive magics. She has two children with her former lover Ogbin , and two with her current love Ulin :
