Erja
Erja was the chaotic good dwarven goddess of nature, earth, endurance, and plants. Her first appearance was during the Divine Emergence when gods were brought back onto Evalon.
"From the deepest roots to the highest peaks, life endures. Break the stone, plant the seed, and let the world grow anew."
Description
Erja was generally depicted as a sturdy yet radiant dwarven woman. Her influence exuded both vitality and power. Her skin shimmered similar to polished stone, and her hair flowed like tangled roots adorned with colorful blooming flowers. She often was painted wearing elegant garbs, crafted from woven vines with a handaxe never too far from reach.
Personality
Erja had a fierce yet comforting nature. She cared deeply for balance of growth of life, but also understood the necessity of destruction to pave the way for new paths. She had no tolerance for those who desecrated the natural world while offering nothing in return. She was quick to forgive those who sought redemption and made amends for their actions.
Worshippers
Erja's followers had included clerics, druids, and rangers, who often sought her guidance to protect and preserve the natural world. Farmers and herbalists also prayed to her, asking for fertile crops, hearty yields and wisdom to use nature's gifts responsibly. Dwarves made up the overall population of those who worshipped her.
Those who worshipped Erja generally practiced in a personal and practical manner. Individuals often prayed while tending to crops, crafting tools, or exploring the wilderness. Her temples were rare to find in populated areas, as they were usually built within natural caves or nestled in lush valleys as they blended seamlessly with their surroundings. These temples were decorated with glowing moss, flowering vines, and gemstones.
