Byron Cessair

Byron may not look "all there" but he is his species just as very bulbous eyes without pupils dude got brainwashed by a major religion like most of the people of his race thats why his horns have been cut his species is pretty ostracised but unfortunately theres been a trend in the past few centuries by one of the most dominate religions in Euvch to take in and pretty much gaslight members of his race into believing the 1. they are sinful and thats why they look the way they do 2. they can be saved by removing their horns and chiseling down their fangs and devoting themselves to the church, abandoning their culture and their basic needs as a species by not using magic or preforming certain actions and what not its meant to be a commentary on how certain churches that are part of the christianity umbrella tell gay people they can be saved by denying their sexual needs by having a family and living as a straight person thats why Bryon's teeth look uneven no they don't really get to buy their way out of anything, those that aren't a part of the church pretty much can only be farmworkers as a legitimate job as they are not safe in urban areas and only low ranking farmworkers at that in the 'faeries tale' ending of the visual novel Leotären stays with Byron to help rehabilitate him out of the churches abuse unfortunately in the true ending this does not occur, but reference is made to Byron during the section of the Usherance rpg and will feature Leotären yelling about what Byron deserved and how his life should have been better in the sequel with Rudan it will be revealed that an elderly Byron is still alive and Rudan will help set him up with a good last home and let him be at peace for the first time in his life, with the option to give Byron one of Leotären's old journals where he talks at length about his love for Byron before marrying Medura and his guilt and regrets for not staying with him- giving byron his last piece of closure; that at one point, there had been someone who truly loved him even if that person hadn't stayed
