A jaguar-like fey encountered in the central forests during the party's travels. Khamet tried to speak to Surati in his native tongue, but when he didn't respond the paladin dismissed him as a 'stupid cat'. When speaking with Meallan, Surati demonstrated an ability to teleport short distances in a whirl of dark mist. Meallan had not more than glimpsed him since.
...until Amani demonstrated the ability to summon Surati in combat, one which they maintain to this day.
