Or in english, plainly, The Birthrights. The Children of the Forgiven Coupling, did went forth and some became the wives of a Human Man, the son of Adam, Abel. The children that came forth were taken by their mothers to the Elden Ones, who delivered them to a place that they would call their own, they named it after the Warrior Mother Aztlana. It was soon after the resettlement process that the Children discovered that they all developed their own gifts, due to the magic nature of their ancestry. After the eldest child deceased, his body turned to stone and the Birthright was born. The eldest child was named QQuetzalcóatl, honor to his name. By turning himself to stone, he made it possible, somehow, for his eldest child, a daughter, to inherit his essence. The essence is the bridge to the deceased power and abilities. It is also a way to commune with the deceased as well.    The Eldest daughter then went forth and taught the others of the tribes the way to mimic this transfer of power, thus increasing the strength of the tribes into the mighty and magestic Empire it is today.

Each House has their own birthright process, some are more deadly than others.  Take the House of Vess for example, because of the nature of their ancestry, the manifestation of their birthright will destroy the inheritor should they be found unworthy.
