Waypoint

The midway point between Taleah and Ardstead is a common stopping point for travelers and business folk between the two settlements. It consists of a tavern and inn (the Weary Wyvern, a raucous dive), with additional temporary housing available for merchants, a temple to the Goddess Iona, and a watchtower manned by a rotating assortment of guards from both settlements. With jurisdiction of the area being more than a little grey added to the large sums of goods and gold moving through on a daily basis, Waypoint is known for attracting the wrong sorts. It is rumored to have contained a hideout for the local Thieves Guild.
