The Cataclysm occurred 13 years ago. Steelmaul clan is located within Demolduhr. The main city/fortress is called Dor Bal Kuldir (Dwarven), but typically called Iredale (common). Shortly after the Cataclsym the Duergar, led by Xardorok, (Nildar and Durth his sons) invade forcing your clan out of the fortress. Retreating to the nearest outpost (above ground) where Doundram Steelmaul is taken prisoner by a female humanoid, wearing all black armor, with the ability to cast magic. You survive the attack and travel back through Dor Bal Kuldir. Dead Duergar bodies lay about the fortress, with no sign of your uncle. You head out into the World, stopping from town/village/city tracking The Lady in Black. You are able to find out, that her name is Brigitta Tiven, the youngest daughter of Lord Tiven. And that she is heading West.
