Chapter 1: To Pleres PCs have been hired by an unnamed merchant (Grif) to retrieve an old family chest from a ruin. After helping him out he points them in the direction of The First Capital, Pleres. Here the PCs hear of the Royal Wedding and the challenges facing the city because of it. The local drunk Wizard and the neurotic Guard Captain both need help. The wizard begs the PCs to get an important artefact from The Wizard Tower, the future of the realm depends on it. The Guard Captain needs help locating a criminal that fled the city on conspiracy charges. The realm depends on it. Chapter 2: The Other City Once arriving in Qudib, the PCs spend some time getting acquainted with the city. After spending a week relaxing and exploring the city the PCs can follow up on a few leads they discovered in their downtime. Vildon wants the PCs to find his business associate Grif. A Craftsman recommends the PCs visit a hermit druid to upgrade their gear. Both direct you towards Quiet Forest. Chapter 3: Hunt For The Pleres Sphere After their battle with Vildon and their narrow escape the PCs learn of the continued conflict between the two Kings. The only way to stop this once and for all is to locate the Pleres Sphere...again. Their search leads them to Kelna, a village built by smaller folk for small folk. The festival of midsummer is in full swing and many a happy time can be had. During their Sphere search the PCs catch some leads on Clan Brighthand and an abandoned fortress nearby; vilagers claim its haunted. After retrieving the Sphere the PCs now have the power of choice, who do they give the Pleres Sphere to? King Aldin, King Zahir or Jahida. Chapter 4: Decisions Once the PCs make their choice on who to gift The Pleres Sphere to they will give it to them. Both kings will use the Sphere to prove the princess is who she says she is. She is not. This throws the entire realm into disarray and war threatens to break out. Jahida will not use the Sphere therefore preventing war but tension still grows between the Two Capitals. Regardless of results the PCs must figure out what they will do about Vildon, Jahida suggests they are too weak to do anything about him but has an idea.
