When Freddy was first starting out as a mercenary he belonged to a guild of good standing. There he made many of his current day connections to those in power who need an extra helping hand. He discovered that his natural skills lay more in deception and lies so infiltration became his speciality.
After many disagreements with the leaders of his guild, Freddy decided guilds were not for him. Too many rules and limitations and consequences for stepping outside of barriers he didn't agree with. His clients were already aware of the fact that Freddy was capable and willing to do things others would shy away from so work was never a problem to find. Many people needed someone to do the absolute worst of the dirty work and Freddy had zero issues doing it, at points he somewhat enjoyed it. There are limits to what he will do but Freddy is the one who sets those, being in control of his own self and judgement is very important to him and allows him to perform his job better than anyone else he knows.

Morality & Philosophy

Freddy has a strict moral code. He finds that anytime he steps outside of it, bad things befall him. To an average observer Freddy would appear to be someone without many morals but, while he will commit atrocities that most people wouldn't dare even think about, the line between what is and is not acceptable to him is extremely clear. There is no grey area in his moral code, that does not and has not stopped him from stepping outside it on occasion. These times have been especially hard for Freddy and serves as a reminder to him to stick to his code.

When hired for a job he is dedicated to fulfilling every goal and desire they have assuming he is being paid appropriately. He will never betray a client and refuses to be hired by any enemies in the immediate future.
