Jannu
Jannu is the desert city of Etrias. Located on the peninsula in the south west of Etrias, Jannu is known for its tremendous wealth. Most of it’s wealth is gathered through the arena and various gambling endeavors.
Demographics
Most Janan's are humans. They are tan, with dark hair. 95% of the City's wealth is controlled by the top 5%. This 5% make the majority of their money through gambling and business from the arena in Kavos along with other underground activities. There are also small populations of various other races dispersed throughout the city. The majority of the population lives in poverty and the city tends to house more criminals than well-endeavored people.
Government
The City/Region is controlled by a central government, in the form of a council of 5 Sultans. Taxes in the region are the highest in the nation. Most taxes go directly to the sultans' pockets. The laws in the region are very strict for specific groups of people, specifically the poor. Although this is the case, crime is exceptionally high in the slums of the region. The main prison for Etrias is in Kavos where prisoners are offered the chance to fight in the arena for their freedom.
Defences
Miles of desert between them and another city. There is also a Palace wall that is heavily guarded to protect the Sultans at all times.
Industry & Trade
Jannu’s main source of income is gambling. Jannu trades with the farming city Delryiad , in exchange for their earning from the arena and their other nefarious endeavors.
Infrastructure
Primarily sandstone. A large palace that houses the 5 Sultans and their families.
Assets
Tremendous wealth. Potential to build an enormous army at the snap of a finger.
History
Jannu is an ancient city that has been around much longer than Areon . They honor the traditions of their ancestors by upholding cultural values and maintaining the glory of the arena. Jannu was built on an oasis.
Tourism
The people that visit Jannu are there for one thing and one thing only... A good time. Gambling, sex, drugs, anything you can imagine to escape the real world is at your finger tips.

Geography
Jannu is located deep within the desert of Etrias towards the center of the SW peninsula. The sea is within a few miles on both sides of the city.
Natural Resources
Near the ocean so fishing is readily available. They also mine for gemstones throughout the desert land. Inside the wall of Jannu, there is a sacred oasis.
