Kalpasi
Located on the eastern edge of the Continent of Travia lies the country Kalpasi.
On the East, Fort Ettin and the Arcaneum protect the borders from invading Vangardian forces. A vast number of soldiers has been sent to Fort Ettin to enforce the borders. As Kalpasi is Governed decentralised the Army consist basically of City Militias which merges together in times of crisis to serve its country, Currently the army is being led by General Hogan Anders.
Amidst Kalpasi lie the Fields of SIlence, a large plain stretching over the center of Kalpasi. Its trademark are the seemingly endless stretches of white pebbles among grass that seems to be crystalized. Soft hills flow in between mostly dead, dusty grey trees.
Scientists have launched plentiful research projects to determine the natural phenomenon leading to this effect, yet without clear results. Historians such as Herivaldi the lesser and Theologists insist the unnatural transformation has been caused by a large scale battle during the first divine war, although an exact date range or involved parties are not being mentioned.
The surrounding lands are unsoiled and used as farmlands and well inhabited.
The country of Kalpasi does not have an overarching Government, rather the smaller and bigger cities are self-governed with the city and town elders serving as judges and counsellors. Once a year they meet in a predetermined city and hold council, or during times of crisis to agree upon procedures for the good of all of Kalpasi.
On the south east is the inland sea named Lake Kalpasi, known for its rich occurrence of fish.
