Nysia
Background
After years of blindly accepting and following my people and their religion, I came into adulthood and began to question things. I decided to get away and see the world for myself to make my own decisions about who I wanted to be and what I wanted to believe. I spent several years traveling to distant lands and meeting new people. I am always cautious but respectful of these new places, peoples, and cultures. I begun to reject my peoples religion altogether while still missing and participating in parts of our cultures. I have recently started to run low on the funds I had worked for and saved to be able to leave and travel/learn. With some of my dwindling coin, I bought travel on a boat to new place I’ve yet to visit. I made acquaintance with another passenger of the ship, a woman named Weiary. We seem to have both been traveling for some time now and have been sharing some of our stories while on this voyage across the sea.
