Djeda

In the blistering deserts to the north beyond the Uthar Range, life finds a way to survive in Djeda, a nation of nomads, researchers, farmers, weavers, merchants, rulers, and slaves. Aided by the gods and those skilled in Willing alike, Djedans are able to prosper here in mystically-made oases and pockets of verdant greenery, trading commerce, ideas, and friendship with their neighbors. The nation itself is split into several small kingdoms ruled by different monarchs, some related and some warring for power. The largest cities of Djeda are Iunet and Maadi, located in the kingdoms of Memphen and Ekhet respectively, two glittering limestone and sandstone fortress-cities filled with bazaars, temples, spas, research institutions, libraries, and museums.

As part of The Etherian League, the official currency of Djeda is that of the majority of the continent to facilitate trade and international transactions; therefore, Djeda uses gold, silver, and copper coins commonly referred by their metallic type for shorthand. Djeda also engages in the continentally-approved barter system per the rules of the Etherian League.
