Obsidyete (Ohb sid ee Itee)

Obsidyete is an unusual composite alloy of Nethyrial origins combining an amalgamation of Corianite surrounded by Ebonite and Obsidian in a San Mai billet. Combining the enchantability of Ebonite, the sleekness of Obsidian, and the cutting edge of Corianite creates a composite alloy that works like no other. The Strength of the Ebonite-Obsidian composite allows for a much stronger, stiffer spine to blades and support for armor while the Corianite adds the power of heat to all attacks, and can melt away enemy weapons.

Everyday use

Obsidyete is used primarily in the form of Weapons, Armor, and ammunition, however it can be seen in use in everyday supplies, albeit at a much greater cost than normal products of the same variety.

Cultural Significance and Usage

This material is commonly used by the Myrmosiren, Nethoharpe, and Daemonus.

Distribution

Trade & Market

This material is little on the expensive side in the Nethyr, but not unaffordable. In Eveynjar, however, it is an extremely rare material, as the main component, Corianite, is a rare substance to begin with.
