Hoid's true origins are unknown, but it is said that he first appeared on the Material plane in the ancient past. He has been a bard for as long as he can remember, and has traveled all over the world, performing for kings and commoners alike. He has been a companion to many powerful individuals and has played a role in shaping the course of history.
Over the centuries, Hoid has become an expert in many fields, and has amassed a vast collection of magical secrets. He is known to be able to cast spells of incredible power, and to have mastered the art of shapeshifting. He is also said to have a deep understanding of the workings of the universe, and is able to manipulate reality itself.
Despite his great age, Hoid maintains a youthful appearance and has a carefree attitude. He is always looking for new experiences and is always searching for something new to learn. He is also known for his love of beauty, and is often seen surrounded by art and music.

• Cutting Words: As a reaction, spend an inspiration die and subtract it from an attack
• Mantle of Inspiration: As a bonus action,cloak yourself in a dazzling mantle of inspiration. For 1 minute, you gain the following benefits:
• Your appearance is magically altered to be more striking and alluring.- Allies gain 14 temporary HP.
  • Enthralling Performance: If you perform for 1 minute, Any creature within 30 feet of you that can see or hear you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or be charmed by you until the end of your performance.They will idolize you or the next hour unless it is broken. Recharges after a short rest.
• Mantle of Majesty: For the next 1 minute you can cast Command as a bonus action without a spell slot.
• Unbreakable Majesty: As a Bonus action. Your appearance becomes more majestic and fierce.For the next 1 minute creatures must make a Chr save in order to attack you. On success it can attack but has disadvantage to saving throws against your spells next turn

Failures & Embarrassments

Hoid was once captured and held prisoner for 1000 years by Orcas. When this happened, his "friend" Frost wiped a lot of memories so he could not reveal anything. This is one of many reasons they ate no longer friends.
