there is 50 Imperial legions. every region of the empire is expected to outfit, supply, and make up 1 legion.

each legion is made up of 5,000 infantry, 1000 Calvary, 1000, archers, and 3000 support staff

Equipment

infantry are armed with banded plate mail, a large shield, 1 javelin, 1 spear, 1 sword a helmet

Calvary are armed with banded plate mail, shield and sword

archers are armed with banded plait mail, sword, bow and 30 arrows

10 centuries are a maniple led by a Mariun

5 maniples are a legion led by the legate

archers

20 men make up valitae led by a velite

10 Valitae make up a skirmish maniple led by a skirmish Mariun

5 skirmish maniples are a legion led the legate

Calvary

20 men make up an equis led by equite

10 equis make up a wing led by a wing leader

5 wings make up a legion led by the legates personally chosen second in command

Tactics

The legion will stay as a single unit and force the enemy into a pitched battle but upon defeating the enemy it will break apart into smaller units and pursue the enemy
