The world is enveloped in war again as developments in magic are created. It's centered around the idea of magitechnology and security.

While it wasn't a bloody war, every country was antagonistic to the other, often ending in border scuffles and sea blockades. It ultimately ended in a truce and it was decided there were no victors. It's ultimately labeled as a cold war.
