After the discovery of Dragons, the world is plunged into chaos and conclusion as the regions and tribes of the world scramble to utilize this new power.

This bloody war started with the discovery of Dragons, yes, but the first battle, sparking the war, was centered around the son of the legendary summoner and the Ice Dragon. Raised in a world that scorned and hated him, one would expect him to be spiteful, but instead he fought to prove himself. He died a martyr, but not before spreading on his lineage.   Both Shapeshifters and Humans no longer knew the right course to magic, not when Dragons really existed, and the fought became brutal. Anywhere from 55-75% of the population perished during this time, and all because of one person's obsession with the mythical Dragon Magic.   And the craze hasn't died since.
