Eshantar

Eshantar is the capital city of the Golden Planes, a region of Esteria known for its rolling hills, acres of golden farm land and the quiet, almost boring lifestyle of many of the people living inside the kingdom.
The Golden Planes has been ruled by the elves for as long as history has been recorded and through the trading of food and resources both of which are easy to grow or gather amongst the Planes the elves have managed to broker themselves a rather firm stance as peaceful, trade friendly race which has lead to The Golden Planes having a very relaxed open boarder stance on travel through it.
However even somewhere so well managed and peaceful can still fall victim to the ravages of monsters and dark magic, a theory that lead Eshantar to create the first Larna many hundreds of years ago, the Larna itself has now spread all across The Golden Planes and even across the neighbouring Kingdom of the Black Lake further cementing the elves as a peaceful race and The Golden Planes as a peaceful and welcoming region.
Nowadays The Golden Planes is known for its plentiful food, its easy hunting grounds and the strength of its great elven adventurers many of which are treated as some of the greatest heros across all of Esteria even though many have never left The Golden Planes itself.
