Estel Harda

The sphere world of Estel Harda is ancient, having been built in the age of prosperity by the elves. They constructed technological wonders and Bio-Automata to serve them. The Automata were all purpose: war, service, labour and companionship. The elves experimented greatly with biological engineering and created many races to serve them.   The humans, greatest of all their creations, took advantage of the elves depravity and took control in a bloody rebellion that lasted centuries. The elves unleashed catastrophic weapons of mass destruction; these levelled cities and caused the surrounding areas to become sickly and full of death. Worst of all were the Bio-Automata: foul bio arcane creations of the elves fed by death.   Titanic battles raged throughout the planet. Through the loss of many brave soldiers and heroes, the elves were brought low and their creations brought to heel.   Whilst the dwarves hid in their fort cities with the other diminutive races, the humans founded the Gratus Confederacy, named after the first Grand Marshal who drove his sword into the foul elvish tyrant’s heart and ended the evil reign of the elves.   Since the rebellion, the world has been decaying, the war has taken its toll on Estel Harda and the land is barren and sick. The humans inherited a world that was dying. Remnants of elvish civilisation remained but were too sparse for the Gratus Confederacy to pay any attention to, they were busy devising a plan to escape this dying world.
