Personal history
He was born amongst the crisis time of his family as they were dealing with a rebellion from the peasantry. Their cruel treatment of the people cause them to rise up and demand better treatment. William found himself as the negotiator between the populace and his family as his calm demeanour cooled both parties. When he was able to successfully get his parents to treat the peasantry better, he found himself in favor with them, leading to his replacement of his mother as regent of the area. He has since been focused on keeping the order he has created, working to balance the peasants need to the needs of his mother and aunt.
Education
William has a formal education granted by his noble status, but has taken focus to learning the laws of the lands passed down by his family. He is also learned in the ways of rhetoric and communication, both in study and in practice, managing the communication of the simplictic peseant speech and the formal eloqunce of his noble heritage.
Employment
William found his first job as an advisor to his mother, helping her with visitors and managing the servants. He soon found himself as a mediator between the rebelling peasantry and his parents, working to bring messages and dictate the meaning of each other's demands in their own language. After his stint as a mediator, he took to writing, reading and understanding the codes of conduct set up from the past. Soon Marquess Reina Everlight elected him to take his mother's place as lord of Kuftal on the shores of Lake Westari.
Accomplishments & Achievements
His greatest achivement was to pacify a rebellion of peasants that rose against his family. Through a calm head and a keen understanding of what each party wanted, he was able to prevent any bloodshed.
Failures & Embarrassments
While he negotiated peace with the rebels, he lost some favor with his mother, where she had to concede many of the powers that she held over the peasents. She has further resentment against him as he took over her position as lord of Ruftal. There is always a cold air between them whenever they meet.
Mental Trauma
He is constantly trying to juggle gaining back the favor of his mother who has drifted away from him since he reduced her power and took her lordship. However, he is seldom to take action towards that end as he knows his citizens would surely rise up agianst him again if he tried to regain the powers the position once had.
Morality & Philosophy
William holds to a philopshy based on the maintenance of peace between others. He is very formal sticking to the code of law set by tradition. He believes that the codes in place are the best way to keep everyone happy, believing that their longevity is their proof to their validity.
