Before magic returned, we had it all. Humans dominated the world - they flew over oceans, and mountains alike, they were at the top of everything and nothing could bring them down. Nothing except the Shades.
In a world where Shades - invisible man-eating creatures belonging to another dimension who roam the world ever since the apparition of magic - made traveling from city to city the most dangerous activity to do, the remaining cities are ruled by the most powerful people - the ones who can draw and cast wards to keep the monsters out.
Key is a young man running from his past and his own demons, and when he stumbles by mistake in the wards of one of those cities, where the gang Bleeding Snowdrop and its boss are based, he accidentally set in motion a chain of events that could mean the end of the world. Again.
A fantasy story mixing horror elements, the Fae Court, a post-apocalyptic society and urban fantasy. Key will meet a variety of characters, from the tiny Nitro, the tech witch who makes electronic explode, to the fiery Firebird, the lady bodyguard who sings like an angel, and of course, Ash, the mysterious man who rules the gang with a strong sense of honour.
