Escara

A fantasy alternate earth esthsetically inspired by the late 1700s. The story takes place in the united lands of Escar. Escar is devided into five lands that all are homes to the various creatures that live here. Escar was united by the emperial magical forces 200 years ago who are all mages.   The Mages where once scattered throughout these realms, but 200 years ago the wizard Leogath rallied them all together and they found immense power as a result. This day goes down in history as "the gathering of the covens". Together their magical power, their numbers and knowledge grew fast and with it they built an empire under the coarse of 50 years. The wizard Leogath came to be emperor Leogath the great.   Since then, the mages has ruled the five kingdoms with an iron fist. This society is both faschist and highly segregated between the races. Mundanes are treated as a different species all together, barberians are set apart from everyone else, vampires know to keep a low profile and elves are the sworn enemy to the mages. And so finally the high elves had enough. A war broke out with the ambition of the high king of the elves to take over for themselves. The personification of the pendulem striking back with the equal opposite reaction. The outburst of the elven war brought other inequalities to light as well though. So while the mages might very well quench the elven rebellion, the grand revolution against the empire has only just begun.
